Attach xl4015 or lm2596 to heatsink? Xp-l lighting project

Hello,

I’m working on a project which involves running a couple of xp-l leds from a xl4015 device. I am attaching the leds to a large heatsink which will also be actively cooled. I am using the following “drivers” https://m.ebay.com/itm/XL4015-buck-5A-DC-to-DC-CC-CV-Lithium-Battery-Step-down-Charging-Board-Led-/132336472860?\_trkparms=pageci%3A1fd1e0a9-a470-11e7-a407-74dbd180a485|parentrq%3Ac979258c15e0abc562500377ffdb5206|iid%3A3&\_mwBanner=1 . How would I go about attaching these to the same large flat heatsink as the leds?

Thanks

You can use silocone to attach it to a heatsink with the flat side
Just make sure the heatsink is anodised or use Kapton tape to insulate it

Any way to dissipate heat by connecting some parts of the chip to heatsink. Also could it handle 3 XP-L @2.4 amps?

Those are usually OK up to 3A
3 in series should work well
