I know the merits of those cell’s new format have been discussed elsewhere but i’m still wondering why i should bother with yet another type of battery… I have a small aluminum suitcase full of about every format spares, those 21700 batteries are hard to get and to top it off they may not even fit my current chargers. So why?

At least if this X light was a pocket flooder like a DQG Tiny 21700 with 2k lumen… or a 21700 D4…

Which chargers are known to take those cells? I mostly use a few Opus BT C-3100.

Did you order the 48G from FT? They are noted as ‘ships in seven days’ which sounds like they don’t have them readily available… and i’ve been burned a few times in ‘restocking hell’ with FT.
Oh… forgot to mention they cost twice the price of a decent 18650… :person_facepalming:

Yes, I ordered from them a while back, more out of curiosity than of need.
But yes, I see what you men by ‘ships in seven days’ …
I am waiting for some other stuff from them right now, but on the other side - I am not in a hurry.
