OK OK, All this Talk and the great moon light level…. I just purchased one When the Wife asks, it was an absolutely could not wait the sell was ending, I had no choice, yes I know it was the forth one this week, I’m addicted story. It was only 20 dollars!

Here is two SP10B’s on low. The left is a 14500, right is a AA. The 14500 is about double, so 1 lumen (AA) and 2 lumen (14500) is not out of the question.

Hum, my question then would be: how accurate are the Olight S1R Baton 0.5 lumens?
If the SP10B, both on AA alkaline and 14500 Li-Ion, is a lot lower than the Olight on Moonlight mode - even if the Sofirn specs mention it has 1/2 lumens - how can we rely on the manufacturer’s numbers?

But maybe this is not a discussion for this thread
All and all, the SP10B has a great ML mode and it’s what matters for this place!

You’re welcome my friend. I really don’t know. They have different lenses, different emitters, different reflector sizes, etc… and who knows how these companies calibrate. Sometimes I think they all just guess.

Like you suggest, if it looks good to you, that’s all that matters
