My colleague just congratulated me, i did not know why…
He said, it’s national flashlight day!
I did not believe him, so i did a search on the big web.
it seems Dec 21st is national flashlight day, probably because (at least in Europe) today is the shortest day.

LOL I thought that was every day, but hey, nice to have an “Official” excuse!

December 21st is also my dad's birthday, may he rest in peace. 
The city I live in knew that. The street lights were out all night.
To compensate for that they were on all day the next day.
(that is: during daylight).
