Of course, everybody knows how well the GT throws at long distances. What impresses me is how well it throws at closer distances like 300-400 yards while it is at only 30-50% estimated power. Even in the 15-25% power range it still throws a relative bright beam much farther than you would think. At least that is how I see it with snow falling and temps just about 0º F with a nearly full moon and 2 feet of snow. All of that bright white affects it but it still looks good at closer distances I will use it for more often. At full power in this situation it seems like overkill and you lose what little night vision you have.
I made a separate purchase for the batteries right before the Giggles shipped so I guess I didn’t make it in time, should I just refund the batteries then?
