Soshine 14500 900mAh (White-yellow)
Official specifications:
Color: yellow & white
Size: 50*14mm
Brand: soshine
Model: ICR 14500
Capacity: 900mAh
Standard voltage: 3.7V, 3.3WH
Max pulse discharge current: 2.7A
Charging voltage: 4.2 V
Battery type: ICR 14500 li-ion rechargeable battery
Operating temperature: charging: 0°C ~ +45°C, discharge: –20°C ~ +60°C
Storage temperature: –20°C ~ +30°C
AA sized LiIon cells from Soshine, depending where I read the specifications says 0.9A or 2.7A continuous discharge.
The discharge curve is fairly good, especially below 1A and it looks like the 2.7A rating is optimistic.
Conclusion
The cells have good capacity and works fine at lower current drain, for high current drain use some other cells.

Thanks Henrik, for yet another nice thorough test. The outcome is that for my X5-CU I’ll stick to my trusted Windyfire(s).
Wish you and your loved ones a happy and blessed 2018.

l have two Soshine 18650. 2900mAh ptotecteds and have used them about 4 years already and their capacity has retained over the years and their protection never failed to activate every single time .
This is the only Chinese brand that has surpassed my expectations very highly.

Thanks HKJ, these are the cheapest 14500 cells with good capacity, and will work fine with most flashlights like Utorch UT01.
I have tested them and they indeed pulling 2.7A without a problem.
Happy New year !
Best

I received today from GB a set of four Soshine ICR14500 Yellow-White as reviewed here.
I did a quick ceiling bounce/luxmeter test with a few 14500 i have around. Here are the numbers (in lux) at startup on an Astrolux K01 (direct drive):
Trustfire “flame” 14500 900mAh - 64 (those are probably 4 years old anyway)
Keeppower 800mAh black - 72
Efest IMR14500 V2 700mAh red - 76 (those are probably 4 years old too)
Sanyo UR14500P 840mAh - 78
Soshine ICR14500 900mAh - 89
These cells outperform everything i have - for a third of the price i paid the Sanyo!!! :+1:
At least at startup…
Edit: i just ordered 8 more. :person_facepalming:
