Thanks,
When did you order this? It looks like the prices spiked quite high. You can get M12 with 2x 26650 and charger for $55 now. :(
Your deal looks great comparing to current prices.

Yeah, it doesn’t look like they do auctions starting at $1 any more? The auction I won ended on Jan 15th.
Hopefully they list more for auction instead of just buy it now, I guess keep an eye on his ebay store.

Here it is again, Keygos M12 + 2x 18650 batteries + charger, available for $24.99 shipped:

Yep! Very comfortable to hold. Super crazy long run times on 26650’s (I haven’t charged the battery yet and have been using it tons!). Love it. After I cleaned the LED and painted the internals black, it works great now

Have you seen the picture of the reflector on ebay? It's got fingerprints all over it! Must come as standard, instead of putting a little sticker on telling you who built the light, he leaves his fingerprints and DNA all over the reflector. Cool!
Marc.
Hehe. :)
It's not a reflector, though, it's an aluminum protection that needs to be painted black anyway. ;)

But this is with 18650 batteries (and very low quality ones) and with very cheap charger.
Previous offer was with 26650 cells and 26650 charger.
If quality of the 26650 battery can be judged by comparing to the quality of the 186650, then I'd rather buy a proper 26650 separately.
The whole package price here is cheaper than just M12 on other ebay deals so I've ordered one.
After it arrives and I thoroughly test it I'll probably order a 26650 or a pair separately.
Viktor
I ordered for $25 today. Sorta feel like I should have waited for the 26650 offer at $30 but I'd rather have IMR 26650s
Anybody up on the best price for those?

I ordered my 26650’s from here: http://www.intl-outdoor.com/kingkong-26650-4000mah-liion-battery-p-136.html
Run time seems the same as the Keygos 26650's that came with it (on the right) :)

do the keygos say IMR on them?
do the keygos say IMR on them?
They do not. They do not list the battery chemistry anywhere on the wrapper. My king kong ones I linked above say “INR” on them.
-Jamie M.
probably same ones I'll get
I think we talked earlier about this, lens in this light is surely wider than lens on Trustfire Z5. I wonder how much.
I took measurements of this flashlight, not sure if you can find similar measurements for the Z5
Talking about wide flood beams, I've been using this flashlight (lots of discount codes available for TomTop) without the front lens and bezel and DAMN does it have a wide flood beam (132 degrees!), nice sharp cut off, and flawless beam quality :) I love it so much ;)
The pics below were taken with the flashlights 3.75" from the wall, and with my new "flood" configuration the flood beam was a mind blowing 17 inches in diameter!

Check out the cool beam cut off above the "bar":
LICK FOR SUPER DUPER HIGH RES! Or LICK HERE FOR JUST HIGH RES!
Here is how my new "around the house" light will look from now on (front bezel and lens removed):

I love flood beams

I've added a photo guide on how to disassemble it:
Hi all. I wanted to do a small guide on how to disassemble Keygos M12 or even many zoom flashlights, for those who don't know. Were gonna need some basic ingredients: common sense two hands two thin screwdrivers Here we go. Start by unscrewing the bezel [image] Now you can reach the pill [image] Unscrew the pill [image] Almost out [image] Pill out with plenty of threads [image] Now you can reach the place where O-ring should be. Mine came without one. Having a pi…
Some details on internals there.

Wow, sweet write up I’ll use your guide to drop in my new 3amp 5 mode drivers I got! Sweeeeeeet

Can't wait for more reviews!
Well here is a report, not a review..
I got two Keygos M12s. I am a newbie so bear with me. I got a charger and 2 Keygos 26650s batteries too. All my flashlights are for bicycle applications. At first it seemed like the zoom would go to beam when I had it mounted. Another poster recommended getting another O ring. Anyway, I laid them on the side for a while, and used my Ke-5s and Ke-1s.
Enter my bicycle helmet. Oh boy. I have been using smaller lights. Then I decided to use a Ke-1.. Then I noticed the mount could hold the M12 on my helmet. I mounted the M12 on my helmet and oh boy.. That is where I need a beamer. With the two Ke-5s or 1s up front and the M12 on my helmet, it is perfect. I can reach up and put it on floody, but the beam is much better. Pointing at where I am going.
Haven't measured the runtime with the Keygos 26650, but I was on high for about 45 minutes, and still running strong. Result, out of the 10 flashlights I got, the M12 is the brightest and the best. I am wondering now, how would the Keygos M10 be.
The M12 is rated by the maker at 1600 lums. I got another flashlight that also rated at 1600 lums, but runs off a 18650. The M12 is brighter..
Sipik SK68 or clone; lots of discussion about those ("which sipik" is generally up to date). Lovely.
I'm looking for a bezel that fits the threads myself to put a short flat cover over the lens for the same completely-flood use.
(M@g AA would work but it's too deep; threads seem to match or come close though, maybe I"ll file one of those down).
Ok, I might have missed this - is there enough room to put in 3xAA in D cell adaptor?
no
