Clip placement is useless on that light, it gets stuck and rips your pocket. It also has some issues with its threads being too short. The clip is useful and works well when placed on a trustfire F23 or similar.
Thanks for the replys guys. I have loved the look of this light ever since I first seen it and had been holding out on paying premium money for it. I really did like the clip on it I thought it looked strong but maybe it is a bit too strong it seems. It would be nice if the clip was reversable and the light had 3 modes and a XP-E R2 or XP-G R5. I had the extra money this go around so I just said had to buy it to satisfy my lust for this torch lol!
On second look it would seem as though the clip is reversable! That is a little better but still doesn't help the tearing up of pockets that some ppl have had with this clip I guess.
Thanks for the link Fran. I had looked at that one but I don't care for a twisty light. I really don't mind that this light isn't 3.7v tolerant as on such a small cell I prefer NiMh over Lithium Ion. The dedicated 1.5v driver is much better than a hybrid driver on NiMh as you all know and I really did like the clip...I hope I can get it to work without ripping my pockets apart!
Well even though I confirmed with the vendor that this light was in stock. It is just my luck that they sent me an email and said it is out of production and no longer available so my order was canceled. Oh well i'll just have to give up on this one.
