Going by the first post date, and the Amazon listing, this thing only appeared at the beginning of February, so it is still relatively new.
For the sale price, the risk is low, so I added a couple to my cart.
I’d still be willing to take the risk at closer to the normal price of $7-10, but I’d order it from Amazon instead. The extra couple of bucks is more than worth it to not have to wait for it to ship from Asia (only to have the USPS sit on it for a week, and then send it a few hundred miles in the wrong direction, like they’ve done with the light I currently have in transit). Plus, delivery within a couple days, and covered by Amazon’s return policy.
And if folks will forgive me from straying a bit, I’m thinking about also joining the “500” club and ordering one of them during the AE sale.
But, picking through the many listings is a chore, and one still can’t be certain that it is the desired item. I’ve ordered from AE before, and know how the listings and descriptions can be all over the place, but those were simple items.
However, this is for one item, with three options (full packge, with adapter, bare), inside one seller’s store! Some listings give the option to choose a plug, others don’t, but without specifying which is included. Shipping method (standard, ePacket) is easier to discern, but the prices are also a crapshoot.
Any tips on “which” Lii-500 listing to choose? Obviously, a ~$20 charger being pictured in a $5 listing won’t result in a happy outcome, but anything else? Does the plug style need to be specified in the note to the buyer with the order, similar to ordering from the Convoy store?
