I laughed my way through the article.
Read it.

Met a lot of those guys. In the 80's I sold them cameras.
They're all dead.
Some of them from "enemy" gunfire.
Most of them from "friendly fire".

BC?
My new sig.....
"I now own small flashlights -- no larger than the average human penis -- capable of turning darkest night into vampire-vanquishing day. Stealth diodes that cut through midnight like those ranging spotlights in Hollywood. I am, through these prosthetic enhancements, superhuman."
Classic.........great read, thanks for sharing.
I am already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth.
Posted on the FB, with the quote.
Alright, which one of you wrote this?
HA! National recognition for flashaholics ,very cool!
Rats, finally sold my 2010 509hp Mustang...now I can buy more lights!
Sold the red one too! Now guess what I drive, doing my penance for 500 hp commuters...

Thx for the link, fun read! I wonder if he's officially a member here or still lurking as a guest (hey Douglas, feel free to chime in!).

Did you read it?
I'm not sure you did...
Hehehe
the author of the article is reading THIS thread IN THIS MOMENT
Awesome article. Facebooked it.
I wonder how much those guys at CPF made him shell out for a DMM, telling him anything else would burn his house down. At least he shops at DX and Dino.
Is it Kreisler? It's got to be a German if they are talking about taschenlampen.

it's not kreisler nor
dinoboy nor do we have pieces of intel H)
But you both must be proud you beloved DD was mentioned!
I didn't know my flashlight could explode.. is this true?
He overdid it a little with the dangers of LiIon batteries.... excuse me.... cells.
I laughed a little, but the writers over the top tails of danger and out of contex information makes me realise how far down the food chain the Huffington Post has fallen. I suspect his other works because for a month of research he didn't learn much.
Does BC = BS ?
I think people are taking the article like it's meant to be some sort of breaking news, it's clearly not and more a commentary on life. It's informative and light hearted, the style suits it's target....more factual and he'd only have us reading it not the general public.
LOL...
Someone here still needs to fess up...
Man ... I start to think flashaholics aren't as bright as the article would suggest. Maybe this post together with this wiki-link will brighten the darkness.
Good timing - I had just read OP again, he already fessed up!
Brilliant writing, I would add.
Ha! This is like one of those mystery movies where you are dying to find out "whodunnit" and in the end you find out that person was right in front of you all along!

It's a great article about a hobby (or at least the intensity of a hobby) that most people don't realize exists. Was it front-paged at Huffington Canada, or was that just because that's how I got to their site? I like the BLF shout out.
