I'm sure I'll like it. He is simply a talent and doing great videos! :)
The original GT-vid already reached 500k! - and this with a topic, which, unfortunately I have to say this, isn't targeting a broad audience.
But the GT for sure is no ED(C) light ;) This thing is very special. Special in what the final product is, but also special how it came into life! Thanks again for that!
I'm waiting for my second now, and hope that there will be an upgrade kit available after GB has successfully closed...
I would really like to try to swap the MCPCB/LED on one. Maybe also the driver.... never done this before. So must be a fool proof solution... ;)
Your XHP70 GT beam-shot is impressive. (GT beamshot)
I am just waiting for my new lux meter to show up so I can get some numbers from the XHP70.2 GT’s I put together with the prototype mcpcb’s.
Then I will be listing one or both of them for sale. Figure I will auction them off and see how high they can go. I think I have earned making some profit off this project.
Yep… technically you are correct Jason. :+1: That is why I said “the short answer to your question is yes”.
Because with the drop out rate AND the negotiations of TA with LT to cover everyone on the list…. it is ’just about’ a certainity. Key words are “just about” …….
Got my PM. I was getting pretty sure I had been forgotten or something I put in 10 of the donations because I felt like the $800 or so raised so far was not enough. Anyway I am like Ralphie in A Christmas Story waiting for his Little Orphan Annie secret decoder ring.
I had just enough to cover the flashlight battery expenses. I wanted to make a donation to the team as well but I did not have enough. Is there a link where I can make a donation once I get the funds?
Also thank you guys for your hard work and I had faith in u guys that’s why I kept cool and let u guys do ur thing thanks again can’t wait whoop whooop!
That is an unusual situation. I can’t help you on that. Let’s see if TA or Madmax can give some insight. The order page might be having some difficulty.
Quick battery question: anyone using the LG MJ1’s for this light? They seem to have identical specs to the Samsung 35E cells, 10A continuous discharge and 3500mAh capacity.
LG MJ1 has a positive flat top that doesn’t protrude and won’t make contact because of the reverse polarity protection of the battery carrier. But an LG MJ1 would be fine with button top.
