It was not the last I checked as it is very hard to ship them without them breaking. If you are in the US, there is a place that makes custom sized lenses for a reasonable price. I forgot the name though. Maybe someone else knows?
Not ideal but you could try a 12V power supply, amps should not really matter for the second you will actually use it. Just be careful to get the polarity right, it will kill the LEd if you get it backwards.
I would just manually put voltage to the LED / LED wires to ensure that the LED is not the problem. There is a small chance it could of died, I have seen them act kind of like this but it is very rare.
You can contact Neal about it, he should be able get you a replacement since yours is damaged. I have tried to get them to offer the lenses for sale to the public but they said shipping was too hard for that.
By the way, I noticed that in the specs post at the beginning of this thread there is no specified diameter for the GT lens, can someone update that information please?
Thanks!
I found this glass that might fit the GT (Not sure about the size)
I plan to eventually replace the glass lens for a polycarbonate lens (cut out a round from a sheet from the DIY shop). Close to the same light transmission (when it is new at least ) and no need to be careful with the GT after that
I got my GT awhile back but havent used it much since its 24/7 light out in Alaska nowadays. Anyways theres a blemish on the reflector. Is there any way to get it fixed?
