Well, I was in the group buy, but ended up not being able to afford those when they came available. I would still trade my entire “collection” such as it is, for just one of those.
Well as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I am curious to what every one thinks in there own eyes what is the best looking light on the market.
Enderman started the ball rolling with a light that i would need to sell my kidney for but one i have never seen before. This is broadening the horizon of every one reading the thread.
I joined the FB group flashlight fanatics so i see heaps of custom work now makes me want to try my luck lol.
Personally i love the BLF/EE X6 i have a few of my own. They tick all the BLF boxes. I don’t find my self very creative i am more practical so i am more likely to go a light i will actually use and abuse. Yet looking at all these makes we want one lol.
Yup haha.
Maybe some day I will try to make myself one.
But putting a $1000 bar of metal in a lathe doesn’t give much confidence in my machining skills
I like the look of timascus, mokuti, mokume. Hanko is right up there (among 1-2 others), muyshondt not so much. Of course, being pretty and expensive doesn’t mean I would use it much and there in lies a problem for me. I don’t want to keep a light for the sake of it, I want to use it when I want without thought of …. :weary:
WOW and a perfect example of why i dont bother posting that much…………………nit picking for no reason distracting away from the thread which now causes me to in replying lol. Cant we just keep it to the OP which is not about discussing or critiquing peoples posts. The reason i stated it being very subjective was because it is. So i just started my post this way.
In the last few months, there has been more bickering and tit for tat on here than other certain flashlight forums.
WOW again, cant believe i am even replying to this beep
Take time to post a pic, reason why yet no comment be it good ,bad or ugly, yet pick on the start of my post…………….get a life!
Well you have a good point. This isn’t a beauty pageant where the contestants tap dance, give a speech about poverty, and then do a comedy skit.
