It’s an XP-L HI 75CRI 5000K…when I compare it to a V2 3A I guess I would say it’s about the same spot along the BBL but it’s slightly cooler white?
Anyways, got around 1,270lm and 108kcd… believe it or not my first C8 mod. The LED is nice but I probably wouldn’t spend $7.35 on it again cause the usual suspects seem good enough (V2 5D and V3 1A)
I was only mentioning the Olsons because of a recent post I saw of a D4 converted to them. The beamshots looked quite throwy for what it was. I just thought it may be interesting to have a small form factor tube light with two different optics and emitter options to give a potentially more versatile light depending on task.
Today I stacked a Convoy C8 driver up to 12x 7135 in total. Flashed with my modified Babka firmware and replaced XP-L HI led with Osram white flat 1mm2 led and Astrolux C8 smooth reflector because it is a tiny bit better than Convoy reflector. Focus almost perfect first time and it throws very well
Thanks! I solder at work every day for almost 14 years now. You can minus 3 years from that at another workplace so 11 years of soldering left. But I think I soldered first when I was 8-9 years old
For you modders, a battery test… I used the 458 Ham’r with it’s 17 emitters and 5 MOSFET’s to just find out what cell gives what… This is a single cell powering the Ham’r, 10 top cells, couple of surprises…
A friend of mine that uses the HG2 also thought that read was low, he expected it to be as good or better than the 30Q. I have two of these, neither are very used cells, but not new either. The 30Q in this test was brand new, first time charged. I’ll recharge both HG2’s I have and test them both again to see if I just got something wrong…
Wieselflinkpro, I think SolderingIron is still a subsidiary Country located in the great Sahara, as a high desert country it’s population is low so shipping quotes may be difficult to find. Nice try though!
