Maybe “FW3A Gray” can be a RAL standard color…

Considering it's made of aluminum, Aircraft Grey fits nicely.

Hopefully in time for Christmas:)

April 8th, 3:41pm FW3A update:

Barring any unforeseen circumstance, this week, 2 samples will be sent to 2 members here in BLF and one sample to a member in TLF.

The final approval from the three persons will pave the way for the light’s mass-production.

As usual, in the meantime, Beer

My term for the design of the FW3A is:

it’s elegantly-simple

That’s something I still need to try. It sounds really promising. At least, it’s a good way to make use of those dog farts. Smile

It looks great!

I wonder if this thread will escape any drama over the pocket clip color being changed unannounced. Innocent

I'm happy that it has a pocket clip, and that it's a very secure design for the pocket clip. I had to get rid of my clip-on S2+ clips because they tended to go flying. My D4 pocket clip is great, though.

How is the D4S pocket clip?

Pocket clip color change??

  • 1. I don’t see a change, what is it?
  • 2. Who cares anyway, as long as it isn’t pink.

The new pocket clip seems to be black. Wink

While I generally like black, painted clips chip over time and look bad. I’ll come out against this, but buy the same number regardless of the finish on the clip.

Yeah, I don’t like the black clip either, but I don’t care as long as I can get rid of the paint with some acetone.
