1. No, not optimally. You want 1x large, and 2x small.
2. Same thing.
3. Only 1x large and 1x small on the tail. No need for a driver spring change since it’s already a BeCu spring.
I did do this mod too. I’ll take a picture of it tomorrow. Fits very nicely.
4. Yes, it’ll work.
5. Yes, it’ll work
6. Yes, it’ll work quite well.
Thank you BlueSwordM, although I'm not sure about 1, 2 and 3 (A6, X6 and GT Mini).
f.e. the outer springs from the A6 and X6 are smaller (7,5mm) than the one on de GT Mini (11mm).
Also your large (outer) springs are 9mm and don't seem to fit on the contact areas provided, which is 8mm maximum for the A6/X6.
For the GT Mini the contact area is even more different as the outer springs are 11mm and resting on the same measure provided thin contact pad (same for the inner spring), the rest is purple print board, so not like the one full contact pad/circle like on the A6/X6...
Counting only on the soldering to make contact with those provided contact pads doesn't seem perfect to me and kind of misses the purpose of your low resistance springs, or do I mistake?
I’m a little surprised to see the J5 flux bin (the highest I’ve seen for 4000K SST-20s) in combination with the less green FD2 tint bin. Usually, emitters get greener as the flux bin goes up.
I personally can’t wait to get them, especially since the improvement is 20-25% over the 2nd gen while having the same good mechanical properties are the 1st gen springs.
