I see Getian now offers a 500W stage light emitter with 93 mm² LES, doing 30-35 klum.
Basically as powerful as the biggest COBs but as small as the smallest ones.
A bit too powerful for flashlights…but interesting nevertheless.

Put it in a portable searchlight.
Pfff. Never!
Puts in flashlight host
Turns on
Vaporizes
The GT4 host might be able to handle this on turbo for a minute. It should produce the same amount of lumens but I wonder if this can out throw the 4x XHP70.2 with a single reflector.
According to specs it’s throwier than domed XHP70.2 and probably a little less than a dedomed one. So with both in a sibgle reflector this one would win (as long as it meets the specs). Quad has a smaller area so the win would be bigger.
So maybe this can reach 800kcd at 30k lumens. That would beat out the R90TS.
Hello, do you need a datasheet of this led chip?
This is Kim ( oversea sales) in Shenzhen Getian Opto-Electronics Ltd.
Factory about the model you are discussing.
Kim, you should contact flashlight manufacturers Acebeam, Olight, Thrunite, and Nitecore
OK, thanks for the information.
Wish you an excellent week!

Welcome Kim, it’s always good to see manufacturers getting involved.
There are quite a few around but I believe your company is the first LED manufacturer to join us.
I see that you have a new website. I can no longer find GT-FC500X3-3.0 in there. If it is there - could you please share a link to it?
I’d like to see the datasheet if you can provide me with one.
Lol, we have both:
First one need update, lol.
FC500 could be found at 2nd web.

Thanks, I see it now…however it seems different from what I linked to originally.
I see that this one has a LES of 12.8 x 12.8 mm while what I’ve seen before was marked to have close to 9.6 x 9.6 mm (I actually don’t have any record of that, just calculate back from that 93 mm² that I mentioned earlier).
Was that some mistake or was is there a smaller FC500 available as well?
Because 77% larger LES would really reduce the viability of this LED…
