Overall my experience with AliExpress or any other vendor is flawless. This is because of the way I believe with regards to overseas commerce and sales. Suffice to say, a great way of believing.
I've been buying small packages from the far east for many years. I grew accustomed to month long waits (or even more), and tracking numbers were not even an option for me until a the last 3 years or so.
Our postal service (Correos) is right now to its very brim, among other things I know this because I have a friend working in a postal office (so ;-) I know). This is causing the AliExpress system telling me “please confirm delivery for order whatever” because depending on the carrier the AE system may show an item delivered when it is not yet… :-D
I feel very fortunate in this regard suffice to say. :-))
My advice is believe right (you will receive your package 100% sure), be patient, take some deep breaths, relax, then fire and forget. Once the postman or postwoman delivers you'll know. O:)
Sometimes, for various reasons; tracking numbers just do not work. As an example…. I received a package Saturday that Tracking never updated from the ’Label Created” stage.
Yet… it was delivered to my door.
Patience is a virtue.
Contacting the seller sometimes helps also.
It still amazes me that to date…… I have always received every package sent me.
I had ordered an L6 and four batteries.
On a different day I ordered 2 additional batteries (I also ordered an S70S and that came from a different store).
I did receive the S70S and YESTERDAY I received the TWO BATTERIES, which were from Simon.
I got a message back from Simon today.
It stated that the package “was returned” - no idea what that means.
He sent me a DHL tracking number, which basically shows a label was made but there is no actual package receipt, It also shows a weight of .011 pounds, clearly not a flashlight and 4 batteries.
I now discovered that the original order of the L6 and 4 batteries, and the later order of two batteries (received) are listed on the same order number at Aliexpress!
So that may be where the problem lies. When I inquire about the order, it comes up as the two batteries, but not the original order.
Anyway, I am confused! Since Simon has responded, hopefully it will be straightened out.
What store is this Simon guy running? I’ve never had a single issue with AliExpress. I bought my Xiaomi Mi 9, my wife’s Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, screen protectors, small motors, phone battery, phone cases, so much stuff! I’ve never not received an item.
It’s all about choosing the right sellers.
Don’t be too upset about that guy that has stock in AliExpress. He made me laugh. After all, we are all just stupid fat Americans that need to go to school. Because tracking numbers are only for the educated, ya doofuses!
It seemed like he was trying to say that we are all uneducated, but then he himself never finished getting a college degree. It almost definitely should be posted to this subreddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/iamverysmart/
