It could be in driver for SST40 and new 3*SST20
If turbo is only 1-2 min I can’t see point of memorizing it, and it would give more modes, 4 in loop and turbo when needed. Then it could be really “turbo”, not the highest mode

Simon, is there an easy method to change or disable the temperature regulation of the L21a SST40 driver (i have the version with 4 modes only) ?
Maybe by disassembling the temperature controller, or soldering a bypass resistor, or just bypassing it with a wire?
Simon when will the slightly bigger inner-diameter of your 21700 available ?
i’m not sure ,which mode do you need? i will leave you a message when it’s ready
Simon Mao: Mocarny:Simon, is it possible to make turbo mode access only after 2 click, from any position(on or off) without memorizing it?
So it could be 0,1% - 1% - 10% - 40% and turbo after 2 clickyes ,and what driver model?

i have a driver sample ,0.1–3–30%,double click turbo
Simon, that mode spacing sounds good to me for the XHP35.

There can be even 4 modes, but 3 are ok too. But 2 click turbo should be from any state, on or off, and long press for low is really great and handy, no need to cycle through all this bright levels. Good reading light is about 20-25 lm in warm white or NW, in CW little less (for me), so if it is an EDC light (in my opinion 3*sst20) there should be mode to have this 25 lm. 40 lm is too much for me, M3 has ~ 40 lm on 1% and it is too bright for reading, but good enough for walking. But M3 isn’t EDC reading light, I guess, so it is ok
Will it be diffuser for 3*sst20?

uh ,it’s for reverse switch ,it only works when flashlight is on .
In the future, I can design a diffuser for 3*SST20 flashlight

Thank you, looking forward to it !
Anyone tried the SST40 in DA tint yet?
Still waiting for my 5000K DA from Simon and 5000K DD from Kaidomain to be delivered.
Ooo will be interesting to see how those compare
Yeah I’m quietly optimistic… I hope that they will be a lot better than the “regular stuff” they have always sold in the past.
Is it possible, that you fit your 22mm XHP35 Boost-Driver to a 17mm driver board? That would be realy great.
Hi Simon, did you overread my question?

17mm is too small ,friend
Simon is it possible to make XHP35 driver to run on 1S/2S battery and in 20 MM size?
Got an issue with my XHP35 driver in a L21A host with a freshly charged 40T - on 100% mode it will just flash and drop back down to 1% mode instantly. Also makes a high pitched whine sound that gets louder as you go to 10% and 40%.
Any ideas?
