Pity they don’t make with a larger. IE 3.5 to 4 in blade
It’s minimal. to even eat an apple I find.
O.T. for a minit.
It’s VERY hard to find a 4 1\2 to 5 inch blade.
FIXED blade knife.
8/9cr, D2, VG10, Swedish, V1. Even Laminate.
(NOT the 3/5/7cr rubbish)
Anybody know of any decent Budget fixed blades that size??.
To around $70US, ($100+ AUD.)
I’m after one to replace my older than most of you here (50 ish yrs).
Martiini 4 1\2 in blade.
I’m Not wrapped in modern Martiini handles.
Above that I use axe. Is Safer.
If it too big. Thick, to CUT with a knife.
An axe or 12/14in Heavy blade. “Kukri” keeps your pinkies safer.
They originally designed to go through bones. In Battle.
Solid budget (scandi) knife, available (when in stock!) in 110mm (4.33in) or 140mm (5.5in) blade size, carbon steel or stainless, with sheath or without!
Thank you people.
Lots of lovely choices.
Biggest problem is dealers that will… deliver to AUst.
USA freight is usually more than items costs.
I like the Martiini straight Spine, 4+ mm blades mainly.
A great working blade at that size.
But could be a little deeper.(1 1\4 ish inch)
You CAN’T really control a Blade over 6in MAX.
Unless you got grip. Wrists like Garth. Too much leverage.
Over that size I have been using axe. hand forged
around 60yrs ago
Looking at Modern not Gurkha blades. (they great for fighting.)
They have thinner blades. I may get one of them too, with 3 to 4ish mm
blade thickness,
Moulded handle. A good intermediate.
On to dealers hey.
OH.
I’ve got Folders. 2 in, up to 4in.
It’s my fixed one.
Sheath worn out. Knife still gud.
just got wear on blade
Thought I might like a change.
But. Really. If I could get a sheath to suit.
There’s nothing with much improvement,
for what it is/does.
None of those (thank you all) are really. More betterer.
It’s done everything I’ve put it’s blade too. Efficiently. (cutting)
in around 50 yrs.
I carry a 6in, 600grit, Diamond flat pencil steel
for touching up everything I use.
It’s a mini flat blade Butchers steel.
Donkeys yrs old. worn nice and smooth.
Gives great edge to everything it touches…
I ordered a CH3504 folding knife on Knives Online Store Suddenly the knife has disappeared from the store and they have deleted all the products. What is going on?
Hey Edgy folk -
I’m on a mini/micro folder kick. Specifically, knives like the Kershaw Pub and Cinder, or the Canku C22 Mini Folding Knife D2. Does anyone have any suggestions?

PS - Gotta love the keyword stuffing. A knife with a 1.2” blade is a “tactical Camping Outdoor EDC Tool Knife”.
This one looks nice, however I can’t see if this is a “true” scandi grind, it seems a bit of a hollow-scandi grind. Maybe if someone has this knife already, could confirm?
I have more than a few of THESE Great little mini knife. Built like a tank. I take the clip off, it just rides in my britches. The damn clips is so tight you can barely get it to clip on your pocket then, good luck getting it off when you want to. Not for heavy duty use. Non locking knife that small is for me super light duty only.
