You might want to wait for Feb.7th trade deadline before picking your finals favorite. A lot can happen between now and then, like Draymond Green imploding, and DeAngelo Russell getting a haircut and deciding he might want to try playing defense for a change.
…. Clippers win it all
I'm hoping a Los Angeles team does well.
Right now, the Clippers look pretty good, but I hope the Lakers can get their stuff together to make it to the playoffs as well.
It really doesn’t matter unless the Canadiens win the cup. Go Habs!!!
I know you mean the wings right?
the Might Phoenix Suns beat the Clippers last night.
Was a good game. Booker drops 30, and Baynes was a beast
The NBA Playoffs started yesterday.
The Lakers play tonight.
I usually just watch the Finals, but I think this year I will watch at least some of the Playoffs.
So far, the bubble has worked, in both the NBA and NHL.
I hope it continues to work.
the disney bubble?
I’ll check which teams are in the playoffs.
wouldn’t mind seeing luka doncic advancing
Good news for you:
The Dallas Mavericks are in the playoffs.
the NBA isnt the same without Jordan right ?
Yep, most people think that Jordan is the best of all time.
While I agree with that, I really liked Kobe Bryant when he played, and I really like LeBron now.
I think there's usually going to be a superstar (with charisma) that I will love to watch play.
update…
Charlotte Hornets radio play by play broadcaster John Focke has been indefinitely suspended by the team after a tweet on Monday
about the Denver Nuggets that did not include the word “Nuggets,” but instead a similarly spelled, very different word.
see the “word”:
You really have to spell check your tweets, buddy!
"That word" is not so PC anymore, to put it lightly!
I’m taking a knee on pro sports. Use to be a big BB fan. No more. Done.
Is it due to the politics of pro athletes?
Go HEAT! We’re up 1 nil, so ‘party time’ in Miami.
Chris
The young team the Vancouver Canucks all the way.
The Toronto Raptors has a good chance to regain the title.
To anyone that is not watching the games live:
Avoid this thread until you are caught up because there are spoilers in here, including this post.
I saw the two Lakers games.
One game was close for some good stretches, and the Lakers won the other game.
So each game was good in its own way.
I prefer close games where my team wins, but what matters to me most is my team continuing to advance through the Playoffs.
In the first game, a Portland player bumped into LeBron James and got a mild nosebleed.
The player said that was the first nosebleed he ever had, and he thought it was kinda cool that it was because he bumped into LeBron.
I thought that was pretty funny, and I am glad that the Portland player is okay.
I saw the Lakers games 3, 4, and 5 (in Round 1.)
Games 3 and 5 were frequently close, and the Lakers won games 2 through 5.
I just hope they do as well in Round 2.
(Games 3 and 5 were the most entertaining of the series, for me.)
