My JM07 came yesterday. Supposed to be very windy (+25mph) today so I'll be field testing the light on the Fox River Trail tonight. We're planning on heading down to your neck of the woods, probably turn around at the Montgomery trail head.
I can't wait to hear how it goes! You'll still be north of my stomping grounds. The part of the trail I run is south of there and unfortunately not directly connected to the northern part. I need to venture north one of these days.
I purchased one as well as the stone white edition, but underneath the gun metal version on the web site it says "
" The Gun Metal Grey JM07-PRO has been found to have some oxidation issues on the latest batch, becasue of that we choose not to sell it. But we have the new version in Black which is free of those problems."
Due to your glowing reviews of this brand ,I ordered one [a JM 07]my brightest light currently is a Fenix pd 30 and I wanted a decent lumin upgrade and a light of good quality.
The biggest struggle was which model of this brand!...kelly
By the way, Foy, to echo what kelly1 said, it's your fault I have you to thank for my purchase of several great lights: Solarforce M6 & M8, JM07 and of course a few SF L2 models. I am very happy with all of them. Thanks for all your great reviews.
So I was able to use mine JM07 Pro for the first time tonight. This was after getting my UltraFire UF-T50 Monday. After using both I am a bit disappointed in the JM07, it doesn't seem much brighter if any brighter than the UF-T50, although the tint on the JM07 is much warmer so that could be it. Overall I think I will probably end up using the UF-T50 more and possibly even selling the JM07.
Looks like I purchased Hanks last one and in NW tint. I think this light may have been copied by others, but at least mine will have been from Intl-Outdoor.
i saw pictures of a version of this light with a bigger head, but no place to buy it. has anyone more information about it? i think it would be a decent xm-l-thrower with great heat-dissipation...
