LOL...good one. If it isn't 800 lumens, it's darn close to it. I have a Yezl M6X that I purchased a year or so ago from CNQ that's rated exactly the same as seen in this link http://www.cnqualitygoods.com/goods.php?id=1095
Although the M6X is the regular T6 CW and my F12 is NW, they are putting out a similar amount of light. It's just that the F12 is geared more for flood and the Yezl M6X has a tighter hot spot. But I'll get a photo of both and also toss in the Tank HC-128 too.
It stopped raining here, so I'm going to go out shortly and get some close range beam shots for the forum. Should have them up in about an hour.
I ordered this one on about 4/2, but this was the batch that had the tint flaw, so they had to go back to the manufacturer to be fixed. No doubt where the finger print came from on the reflector. Very disappointing to hear your batch has an anodizing defect now. At least once mine shipped, I had ordered it with DHL shipping and got it in 3 days.
Either way, once Rick and Merry receive a good batch and ship it out to you, you'll be really happy with it. Try and sit tight and when you see this light in your hands, you'll see it was totally worth the wait. Good luck to you.
I ordered mine on 4/4. Merry let me know about the tint problem on 4/9. I was told by Merry on 4/22 that it shipped on 4/20, tracking number showed dispatched by Singapore Post on 4/25, arrived U.S. 4/30. According to USPS, it has been "Processed through Sort Facility" in New York at 1:34 pm. I'm hoping it's in today's mail at work.
The annoying part is an edc light included in the order for a friend. I expect the long ship times but my friend doesn't understand why it takes so long. I am disappointed in how this was handled, the order should have been split shipped, especially considering I paid for registered shipping. One of the reasons I use CNQG is faster shipping - this one is almost at 1 month.
On a positive note, at least CNQG checked the new lights before sending them out. The long wait is preferable to getting a defective light and then trying to get satisfaction. If you do have issues with CNQG, Ric-CN is a member here and he does respond to PMs. I think they are pretty busy trying to get the new FancyFlashlights website up and running.
Edit: Just saw your post, Richie. Our lights were probably on the same flight - mine's just making it's way to the Midwest.
I'm sure your light will be delivered today But this same thing did rub me the wrong way. Due to the issue with the F12, CNQ held up sending my Big Head K8 until the F12 was in hand. I agree, they should have split up the order and sent the balance of items they had ready.
Umm, it's not bright gold that's for sure, a really matte colour. The whole light feels really dry! I know that sounds strange but I guess it's the feel of the anodising. As Richie noted the threads were bone dry and felt nasty but a little lube and they are fine. I'll see if I can get a accurate colour pic....
Folks, just a little clarification, my photos made the F12 appear very gold, it's not. For acurate color photos of what it really looks like, Ric's website depicts the color perfectly.
I also think the 7*7135 driver is a bit much. If heat really becomes a problem due to the high power output of this light, I may decide to desolder and remove one chip. I noticed Intl-Outdoor's version is lower output at 1.75a at the tail using only one chip, CNQ's version is 2.46, at least mine is, and has 3 of them on the driver. I'll see what others thing about it.
Although, on the MED setting it's great and not a problem.
