Just got home from work and my K1 SBT90.2 was waiting for me
My batteries however, are due to arrive tomorrow
A rule of thumb for me. I always order batteries[if I need them] the same day or before I order my light. I have had my P42A’s for Two weeks now!Nothing worse than a brand new torch and no batteries! That has never happened to me.
When did you order your batteries?
That’s the thing, I ordered some batteries two days after I ordered the light (from a UK seller) so they should have been here sometime last week! But the parcel has been lost by the delivery company (My Hermes). So I’ve now ordered some more and they should be here tomorrow. Comes to something when a light from China gets here faster than some batteries 100 miles away!
Has anyone from Canada had any luck receiving their orders. I have two orders that have been stuck on “HK / Hand over to airline.” for over 5 weeks. I understand that there are lots of delays at this time but I find it weird that the tracking numbers don’t show up on Canada post’s tracking. I have a few other packages that have been stuck in China for weeks but I am able to track them through Canada post.

Nope, nothing yet. Ordered on 4/7, shipped 4/10, last update displayed on 17track is from 4/13.
Most of the orders from China to the US/UK/DE are shipped via special service which take about 2~3 weeks to arrive.
But there is no special service to Canada, thus we can only use Singapore post, while Singapore post shipping
time depends on the airline service, and since most of the airline service has been canceled due to the virus issue,
so, almost all the orders to Canada are stuck at “hand over to airline” status for weeks.
Once the order is shipped, it’s out of our control, we kindly ask you to wait longer.
So for the meantime we’re basically playing the waiting game, there’s nothing we nor Hank can do for now.
As for tracking, it heavily depends on the service, there are some shipping options that aren’t able to be tracked via Canada Post but are track-able with other third party tracking sites like what you’re already using or other country’s domestic sites.
My order from Hank just moved and is now in Canada ; first move since 18th of april .

Tom, have you got your light yet? My SBT90.2 has been handed to DHL and USPS is awaiting it to be given to them. It's still in the LAX area...
Nope, stuck in LAX since May 14th - think that's the same as the Baron - our packages have some of the same time stamps on updates.
Got a DHL order from Neal on the way as well. That one got stuck in HK for 5-6 days - weird for DHL, but just got movement today - in USA, Cincinnati now.
Neal's order includes an Amutorch E03 (kind enough to throw in a light of my choice) and a BLF D80V2. I had 1 or 2 of the old D80's so just had to get one of these new ones . I have just about every BLF light ever made, in my rather small, meager collection that is...
Moreover, what I would absolutely love to see Hank release would be a light based on the K1 handle. 21700 support and usb-c charging, but with a multi emitter head, either 7 or 9. I think that would be fantastic!
I like the smooth transition from body to head, a design unique to rofis until now. Hoping for 21700 single emitter or quad with throwy optic.
Same ! I’m hoping for either a 18650 or 21700 with a W1 emitter…. but then again I probably should slow down on lights already eating into next years budget….
Single cell with 3*SBT90.2, trendy 250W output, ultra low body weight at 25grams, reviewers then complain of direct drive circuitry not being efficient at
1W output and heating up too much at 250W output.
I hope it’s an 8 or 9 emitter 21700. I don’t like how after the fins it’s completely smooth. IMO it looks a bit too plain. Maybe make it more aggressive like the K1.

I played with my K1 with SBT90.2 last night, thing is a beast, super happy with it and super surprised at the heat a single emitter can produce.
I just need to muck around with the thermal config, but I’m never in a place where I know the temperate accurately lol…

Well I’ll be damned, the tracking just updated for me too. Shows as en route to Canada finally.
Well this is quite the coincidence, 12 hours after I posted about it one of my packages changed to “CAYVR / Despatched to overseas”

That does, indeed seem like it’s going to be a KR1. Looks like it will be comparable to a D1.

KR1 was made complement the KR4, it is 18650.
