The two Imalent MS03 arrived a few hours ago, along with the extra long original Imalent protected usb-c cells, and four solder blob unprotected 21700 cells, and two VP8 chargers to charge the six longer cells and have digital readout.
The very first impression: Very nice quality box, not just plain cardboard. The first impression is important, and since the box is very high quality, it provides an initial quality impression.
Something different: The bezel. The bezel is too different to figure out, but it is working great, if it even is a bezel.
The tail cap says "Built in 21700 battery", but I think it should say: "User removable usb-c extra long protected battery included", if it has to say anything at all about the battery at that location.
Weight: Feels perfect. Not too heavy. Feels light weight, but does not feel too light weight
Size: Worlds smallest triple XHP70.2 reflectored light!
Small white room ceiling bounce check yields what I like.
I am going to use this light in normal modes for normal runtime and normal heat management, but it is nice to have maximum turbo for brief burst to light up a large area brightly for a brief time, to get a quick, bright, large area scan.
I attached size comparison pic of this light with five other lights in another dimension of the world wide web, so I will clench my jaws and whiten my knuckles to avoid cross-posting the pic here.
I really do like the overall feel and looks and performance of this exciting hot rod. In a few more hours, when flashlight time dawns, I will be enjoying the thrill of what one of these in each hand provides.
