Wow! I have to say, I don’t own a fireflies light but this is one of three lately that is going to make me open my wallet up! Especially this one! Looks like it’ll outclass my KR1… would really love to see the CULPM1 as an option though. KR1 doesn’t offer it either idk why…

I won’t be buying any more Fireflies flashlights if this is the standard to expect as below. I was looking forward to trying Fireflies products but sadly a very sour experience.

I bought over a dozen Fireflies light direct from the Fireflies website and never saw anything like that. Yours look like a used product. You need to inquire with the dealer where you bought it from.
I’ll second that. My fireflies bought direct have been flawless. The marking around the lanyard hole is a giveaway that yours was at a customer before you. There is no reason that fireflies would try to put a keyring on it.

Im glad to hear both sides of the above issue, because although i’ve had no problems with Neal, I haven’t ordered form him in awhile (for unrelated reasons) and dont want to take the gamble, i know where Ill be buying my upcoming new FF from…
Sounds extremely interesting, especially the combination of the new CULNM1.TG LED, TIR optics, and a high efficient driver.
I’m still missing a combined buck/boost driver for flat regulation, but a buck/FET is already much better than a simple FET - especially because the Osrams are having a quite low Vf.
May I propose a voltage indicator feature using a RGB LED in the switch? Would allow to constantly read the voltage, while charging, while in use, and also while on standby (Andúril supports this).
I would probably get one depending on price.

Do anyone know what optics is used? It look like some special TIR optics instead of reflector. Do you know how it compare to reflector? It look like there is aux RGB led under the optics which is probably the reason why alumium reflector is not used.
Specs in OP say: High efficient 3.6 Degree TRI Optics; Up to 138cd/LM
I assume typo: TRI should be TIR. Maybe it's like the E01 optic, but I see the E01 is spec'd at 6 degree TIR.
The head diam of this mini light is wider than the E01: 36 mm vs. 34 mm
