I recently purchased a Klarus XT21X with a faulty battery. After looking for a replacement the only 5000mah 15amp cells I could find were Klarus and Nitecore. Since I’m uninformed on flashlight battery specs I wanted some definitive advice on the best replacement - rather than buy the Klarus just for the name. I don’t mind spending 25 bucks for the oem as long as there is not a more reliable, more efficient at a lower price. Any help is appreciated.
Many options. It looks like your light takes a 21700
This is a partial list but there are more.
Thanks for the reply.
What is the difference in the Klarus having 5000mah vs the Samsung 4000mah 30amp? Last, Do I need a protected/unprotected cell with button top or flat?
Understood. My understanding if a light comes with (in my case) a 15amp battery it is preferable to use equal to or above that 15amp - not below? Is there something you would recommend me reading to give me a basic understanding battery related?
Thanks for the links. I certainly will use them.
Exactly.
