Hi, last night there was freezing cold weather with temperature –15… 17 deg. C. I was walking around with my new FW21 X9L (switched off for some time) and then, decided to check temperature. Read-out was something like 2 blinks 4 blinks - 3…5 blinks. Do you have an idea how Anduril and/or temp sensor deals with temperatures below 0?
Now we know… What about turbo step down?
What do the three blink sequences translate to?
2… 4… 3… = 243
243 - 256 = –23 °C
Unsigned integer overflow. Internally it uses a signed value, so thermal regulation works fine.
Would it be possible to deliberately set a negative value below 0°C/32°F? For instance, clicking 243 times in thermal config step 1 to de-calibrate the sensor to an even lower temperature than 1°C (= 1 click)?
Not that it was reasonable to do that but just thinking...
That won’t work.
By the time you’re done calibrating the temp, you need a new switch.
