Hi everyone,
I wrote this 4 weeks ago, but I’m just posting this now. My name is Jim and I am writing a review about the flashlight store called the Illumn. The Illumn store has been open for the last 10 years and is owned by a man named Craig. I can’t say enough good things about the store and it’s owner, Craig. Illumn has an extensive list of many different brands of flashlights, which are at very good prices. I am fairly new to the flashlight scene and had many questions. I emailed Craig MANY times. Craig was always quick to respond and answered all of my questions. I ordered the light I wanted and received it quicker than scheduled. After receiving my light, I fiddled with it and messed it up. I informed Craig that I had a problem and he called me promptly at the time we scheduled. Without hesitation, Craig sent me a return shipping label and is fixing what I had done to the light, which he did not have to do. Illumn is the first store I will be visiting for my flashlight and accessory needs. I would give it more than 5 stars. So check out the Illumn store for all your flashlight and EDC gear needs. Since I wrote this, Craig has returned my light in perfect condition. He can be reached at supply@illuminationsupply.com
Not to be an echo chamber, but this Illumn joint is straight up legit awesome. I emailed them a question about a battery last night, and had an answer from Craig in 9 minutes!! The dude is on his game. Likewise, with Illumn offering less expensive USPS shipping options, it takes some of the bite out of ordering smaller quantities.
Not as far as I know, but I’d gladly shill for Illumn unprompted. I’ve never had a bad experience, and the prices are awesome, especially for a small business.
That’s why I post ,only because of Craig and how he has treated me. I also have posted about Ben with Mateminco, he is great to deal with also. There are a couple of places that are not so good. I have thought about writing negative reviews about but haven’t as of yet. Not sure if I should.
Great folks. I like that you can buy name brand quality batteries for about the same price as China ones (or a small premium), but you can rest assured that the ones you get from https://www.illumn.com/ are real, and not some rewrapped disaster bomb.
Yeah, I’m with you on these guys. (Illumination Supply)
I agree 100 percent. I went with some some unknown places to save a dollar or so per battery. And what I got was junk. Batteries with internal Resistance in the 90s and low 100s.so now I will have to buy 8 more batteries. And I’ll be getting them from Illumn. I received 4 vapcell batteries today from Illumn that all 4 of them have internal Resistance of around 25.So don’t do what I did and try to save 4 or 5 dollars only to have to purchase from Craig at Illumn anyway.
I made a quad Convoy M2 with these Illumn Nichia NVSL219BT-V1 4000K D200 L2 R9080 LEDs back in 2019 and the tint is spectacular. Probably my most favorite flashlight. I’m surprised they’re still available.
