OSRAM CSLNM1.TG & CULNM1.TG 1mm², CSLPM1.TG & CULPM1.TG 2mm²

Hi, guys.

i`m reviewing Olight Marauder II

and this flashlight use dozen of OSRAM KW CULPM1.TG for floody light

i`m quite confused about logic of this choice, as i used to treat OSRAM KW CULPM1.TG as totally throwy LED.

what kind of advantage can such set of LEDs can give comparing to like, XHP50.2?

i`d understand if they put it for throw. but they chose P6 instead (which is another question).

could anyone who , unlike me, know things about LEDs, reveal this mystery and help to make my review more informative.

P6 is not CULPM1.TG, it’s a cheap domed Osram LED that is ugly from my experience.

The review I saw showed only CULPM1 used in the center LED not the 12 outer ones so I think you may be mistaken?

i mean P6 for central light and CULPM1 for throw ))

but thanx. what you wrote means logical. question is closed.

Olight should mention what they use here.

Why is nowhere information about the CCT of those Osram emitters? I really would want to know how much K their color temperature is…

I want to replace some green SST-20’s on a Astrolux MF01 Mini for the CSLNM1.TG do the LED pads align?

Will they survive the FET driver on the MF01 Mini in the first place? Their Vf is rather low.

I think it depends heavily on how hard they are driven. I can say my personal experience is that the 4040 pad versions are warmer (looks like ~5500K) and have a higher duv/more green tint than the 3030 versions, of which all of mine have been 6000K+ and very rosy.

You can put the 3030 CSLNM1 on a 3535 pad but it’s a tight enough fit that tolerances means it may not work on some 3535 pads. I would assume though it would either fit all pads on the same board or none at all, i don’t think it would be a case of it fitting only some.
It’s also a bit fiddly to align them to the pad which will slow you down when doing multiple reflows at the same time so i consider anyone who can do many at a time to be a superstar

Thanks, I think I will leave it alone as is.

If you do get tempted definitely try a single reflow first so you know what’s involved, you never you know, you may find it easy.

This HHL532.TG has nearly the same Vf as XP-l hi until 3 amp. So it could be able to simply swap with XP-l hi in some light with buck driver for XP-l, like in Convoy L2, L4 for those who prefer constant output like me. Getting around 800 lumen at 2.8-3amp is nice. Interesting!

Are these emitters I am looking at Osrams? If so can anyone tell me which ones they are?

1st one looks like a OSRAM, W1 I would think. 2nd looks like a SFT-40.

Thanks Tom!

Yea, I'm certain the 2nd one is an SFT-40 -- just put one in a BLF GT.

What kind of light is that? Interesting how they got bare wires there, but ok because the holes seem to be connected direct to LED+ and LED-. Plus it's really small with two nice size screws.. Hhmm.

Yes. Please let us know what light the second pic is!

Its a prototype of a possible new version of my 800 lumen maglite dropin.

Hmm. Interesting

22AWG Teflon wire?

Maglite modding is American national sport… I tried to modd my more than 30 year old Maglite Magcharger and never finished it… I just surrendered  To complicated for me.

Yessssss!
