When you are projecting EA01S at 3m distance and beyond, that petal shape edges of the beam will pretty much fade away and out of field of view quickly. In comparison, FT01S has much brighter edges and narrower beam profile, which buyers might find the light artifacts distracting and less desirable than other lights.
