"MV Ever Given" Marine Traffic Jam

Why is it ā€œEver Givenā€ if it is written ā€œEvergreenā€ on the side of the ship?

EDIT: Evergreen = company & Ever Given = ship?

EverGiven is a macrocosmic mirror of my spirit stuck here, trying to get to Heaven.

I was informed that I can reasonably expect a delay of up to nine (or more, yikes!) years, but maybe much sooner. No way of knowing.

I am going to miss my BLF GT 94s', and a few or so others, but not much more of anything else.

Yeh. They got other ships like the Ever Greet, Ever Lasting, etc.

And slightly less known ships like Ever Hard, Ever Stuck, etc.

And the Ever Groot?

They shouldnā€™t have tried that U-turn moveā€”no parking, no parking on the dance floor.

Reminded me of this :sunglasses:

Seems to me a typical case of: ā€œHenk, turn the ship, Iā€™ve left my purse in Suezā€.

Your other left!

Has anyone heard about the future toilet paper shortage because of this? Better stock up before itā€™s gone!

I got my supply! He he he!

Who is old enough to remember the 1967 Arab-Israeli War?

The Suez was closed for 8 years back then.

Wow, I did not remember that.

of sanityā€¦The Most costume changes per minute of video Everā€”the Ever Change.

When I see evergreen I think heroin dealers

Oh Tarjaā€¦ Thanks LB. If I could only turn back time.

She is on track again: EVER GIVEN Current position (Container Ship, IMO 9811000) - VesselFinder :+1:

Thatā€™s Cher, I think. :stuck_out_tongue:

(At least I remember the commercial forā€¦ uhhā€¦ whatever.)

But yeah, ever since she got done dirty by the rest of the band, it just wasnā€™t the same. Same name, but not the same band.

ā€œSmeagol is freeeā€

I remember that. I also remember that back then about all I knew that came from China was tea, fancy dishes, and silk. Hondas and Toyotas were rare oddities and we had a new Rambler. My favorite shoes came from a factory about 45 minutes away from my house. Those miniature transistor radios from Japan sure were neat. However, our vacuum tube TV was made in the USA and IIRC the first ā€œsolid stateā€ TV that we got to replace it during the time the Suez was closed was also made here. Very different world today.
