Beautiful design!
Super stunning!
I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
i see the driver area (around the button and charging port) is the same as astrolux FT03 or Mateminco.
Impulsive as I am I just ordered one black/5000K. The stud instead of a spring with the short tail spring may cause some crushing on longer cells. I know driver area is limited and this method gives a little extra. Tail spring needs to reflect this as a bit longer. I have three other lights that have crushed the tops of cells. Haikelite HK4S was so bad I had to grind down the stud 4 mm’s just for unprotected cells.
The 4000k in the S11 is so darn nice. It really does compare very well to the 219B sw-4500k. My S11 seems to be a bit more rosy than the one shown above… But, that could just be the recording.
Pioneman K45-C…
I like the Pioneman K35 design. There are using Convoy drivers. Are we expecting a similar Pioneman K35 host with Convoy Name S???
Hmmm… Pioneman related to Convoy?
Just saw this on FB:
Convoy M21E 21700 flashlight ,type-c charging port,XHP70.2
So are there any differences between the reflector in the M21C/D to the M21E?
Probably, the E looks like a C8 size head,44-45mm while c and d are 55mm

posted on facebook: Convoy T3, similar to T2 with 12 groups driver for AA/14500 battery

I hope it is a floodier/wider angle reflector than the one in the M21C, but we will have to see.

Holy cow, that tint (DUV = –0.005) is amazing! The best 3535 3000k emitter I’ve seen to date!

thank you for sharing this! What a absolutely beautiful design! Ordering now!
How do you put in for the t3 preorder? Why is $999 ??
That is just a placeholder. When they are ready Simon will let us know.
We’re gonna need the info on that T3. Is that using the new 17mm 12 group AA/14500 driver?
Could we perhaps come up with a different config list of mode groups for Convoy’s 12 group firmware, most of it is groups no one would use.
I’d especially love that 50% level in with the 100, sure it may not be a big visual difference, but it allows for longer runtime and longer bursts than 100
Also each blink in config represents each group, it’s way too slow as it is currently
How I would love a group where the low, med, high could be configured by the user. Like a ramping menu to set the brightness.
For this new T2 driver I’d like to keep a real 0.1% mode (sometimes it seems bit higher in my S2 + driver)which is useful indoors and close spaces

Personally I think the 0.1, 1, 10, 35, 100% spacing works well. 35% on the 5A versions is approximately where the lights balance due to thermal limiting, so I set it on 35% and know that the brightness will be relatively stable for night photography. The only improvement I would like to see is a constant frequency strobe instead of the terrible alternating/two frequency strobe.

I guess it depends on what it’s being used for. I’m a dealer and stock the C8+, L21A & L21B for hunting, so 50% allowing a longer duration is far better than a short burst on 100. For example the 5A driver paired with the NM1 gets 3 minutes at 100, where 50% gets quite a decent amount longer and when you’re out searching for animals you need the extra range than what 35% provides.
At the moment I’ve discussed with Simon to get the SST40 ramping firmware on the Osram red model. The 100% level is too bright for closer range and it’s spooking the animals, and 20% is far too dim to be useful. Having adjustable levels is going to be awesome. Currently the 100% level is 280 lumens and the 20% level is only 20 lumens, so it’ll be great to have access to everything in between.
I get that the 35% suits general use, but it has been brought up quite a few times for others also. It’s not always about the maintained temperature, it’s also about runtime
