Please help me find this flashlight vendor...

A couple months ago I came here to learn about LED binning. And here I found a website where you can pick the LEDs that you want to go into your flashlight. You select the color temperature and the bin code. I think they had a couple of different handheld models 18 650 or or CR 123 size.

It was a very 90s looking website. Simple with a lot of text. Everything aligned to the left side. And there was a thread on here where people were talking about the different versions they had, like the 4000 K and the 3500 K. The place had about a six week turnaround I think for delivery.

I cannot for the life of me find that website again and it is driving me crazy. It seems like I nobody has heard about it on Reddit r/flashlights. But I am 99% sure I discovered it by browsing this forum.

Sounds like FastTech?
Kaidomain has also a lot of choices regarding LEDs, or the Convoy AliExpress Store.

These stores have way too many products. The one I’m thinking of really only sold a couple of type of flashlights with a lot of different choices inside them.

Very similar to HDS systems but less expensive. HDS systems was a site I just got an answer from on Reddit, and it is really close to what I was thinking of, but man these guys are like 300+ dollars.

The one I’m remembering was much more affordable.

Hank Wang (the man behind Emisar and Noctigon) does give his customers lots of choices regarding LEDs.

It’s not that but those are some really nice looking lights.

The website is far too good also.

It seems like it was updated recently to more web2.0ish.
You might try Reylight.net.
If you want an HTML blast from the past try https://hdssystems.com

I wonder if you could be thinking of batterystation.com . I bought from them a few times back in the day and things always went well. They sure seem behind the times now though.

https://mtnelectronics.com/ might be another possibility, they have all kinds of leds and other parts, but I don’t see any complete flashlights there right now.

Another one might be https://jlhawaii808.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjwvuGJBhB1EiwACU1AiUILmFRpsuryIa9r-...
I’ve bought here once or twice

I’m glad I’m not the only flashlight collector out there, I was beginning to think I was strange.

Possibly Texas Lumens? Someone here in the states was making bespoke lights where you pick the (custom machined) design of the head, tube, and tail, as well as pick the LED and driver to go-with.

Vaguely recall the website was rather rudimentary. Functional, but plain/simple.

Defunct, as I also recall rather recently that he pulled the plug.

Possibly Customlites.com @ https://www.customlites.com/main.sc

or

Pflexpro.com, which has been down for a couple of years now, and presumed no longer in business.
