2 pack Motion sensor LED light for $15. The brand is reputable and seems like they want to push sales for this new item.
Appears to be using an internal 18650 due to the rectangular body, and if so they should be able to be upgraded. The main problem with the flat ones are the internal lipo battery, they are just designed to fail within a few months.
Divoom Pixo 16x16 RGB LED display $22.74 with 15% amazon clip on coupon. I have seen divoom LED display speakers in action and they look like fun novelty gifts. there is also a smaller version with bluetooth speaker for $35 but only in pink.
Pixel RGB / CCT video light with tripod $20 with extra 10% clip-on. Has the generic UI with probably very bright 1% but comes with the dual mount tripod with the phone holder which is worth at least $8. I can’t remember how many of these I have owned and always end up giving them away because people say “wow that’s so cool”, so I borrow them out and never see them again.
RGB headset $5.49… I actually got this same cheapo headset 2 weeks ago under another brand for $13 just for the sake of trying the RGB, it came with a broken slider but it had some insane bass, comparable to my V-moda M100 which is my current gaming headset. Surprisingly no distortion and good volume too. For $5 it’s totally worth a try if you like bass, because it is not remarkable in any other way. Needs usb power for the generic RGB effects and comes with dual 3.5mm to single adapter.
Nicron N7 w/rotating head $12.99. It's been a little cheaper in the past but not by much. Worked fine as a bump to qualify for free ship for the $15 motion lights posted by will34 above.
Thanks for the heads up. Just purchased these under counter LED lights. My wife has been asking for LED lighting just like this.
She wanted them for a closet and one under a counter in the kitchen. I’m sure she’ll be happy when they arrive.
I stopped using mine because the batteries were to hot to touch before they were fully charged. I put them in my PowerEx MAHA MH-C9000 charger
and set to charge at 200mAh and they don’t get hot. It wasn’t like I even needed the charger anyway. The upside is all 8 “AA” are good and none were
defective.
Followup, yeah, might’ve been only partially charged (ie, sketchy “I’m charged” indicator). They all clocked in about 2050mAH on average, so all is well.
Yikes! I got the 2 for deal in august and been using one in my garage since - it's been doing fine, and my son-n-law is using the other. Haven't checked the heat but I don't really leave it on long either.
Yeah, the EBL batteries seem fine… time will only tell if they are capable of a reasonable low self discharge. And who knows if they’ll live for as many charging cycles as claimed. But that charger is a bit suspect. I like the compact size and very readable charging status display, but I’m finding it tends to overcharge cells. I charged an older Eneloop AA on it… got 1.52v. However, I’ve yet to find any cells feeling appreciably warm or hot. The fact that at least a few people here are seeing hot cells means the QC is spotty on this stuff. Figures!
checkout AVE on youtube, for tool reviews he opens the box w/ the proper version. they seem useless to me tbh, or at least only useful for very specific cases, which admittedly some people have…
I don’t get it. Why a chainsaw vs a sawzall-type recip?
I’d rather replace a blade to suit (wood, metal, demo, etc.) vs replace a chain, and even then it’s iffy that you’d be able to get any beyond the spare(s) in the kit.
I’ll give it a shot — I’ve only bought 2 DMM in the last few days —— This cheap one was around $16 through Vipon —It’s big though —I’d hate to be hit over the head with it —pretty accurate compared to my Fluke
280Wh/400W power station, has 100W PD input/output and regulated 12V DC output (says 13.3V 10A). That makes it better than the aftime, however the aftime has MPPT input and this one only has PWM, which is not a big deal unless you plan to charge it via solar.
