Convoy M21B: TIR lens available?

Hello Smile

Are there any TIR lenses available that fit to a M21B? I can find a lot of different TIR lenses for the Convoy S2+ but none for the M21B.

That would interest me as well, the FC40 would be nice behind one.

M1/M21B Reflector (Diameter/Height) : 31.8mm/23.2mm

The depth will be near impossible to match in a TIR, most are under 20mm tall. A spacer under the mcpcb will be necessary.

Ledil Olga is 29.7D * 18.5H
Gaggione LLC25 is 32.6D * ~18H
Jarmay is 29D * 18.8H

Ledil Mira and Yasmeen could also work and have similar dimensions to the above and are made for large emitters like XHP70.

So, you gave me an idea, bad thing to do. The LED is not spaced up to the TIR yet, will have to work on that. But, the beam is very smooth, have lost a lot of output since the LED is still to far away. But, it is nice. Will have to work on this more. This TIR is configured at the base for a 12.82mm led entry. It appears that this TIR is going to be more floody than the stock reflector. But until it is spaced properly I will not know. Based on the bulb part number, I think the TIR is 25 degrees.

It looks like I will need an approximately 12.5×20mm copper bar to make up the space internally for this to work. Wish I could lathe up a fitted spacer that would snuggly fit the reflector recess. I could delaminate and solder up a stack of MCPCB’s as well. I do have some that are 20×2mm. Now, it sounds like I have started a mod project for the OL competition this year… Sad More work!

Sad to hear this. Thank you for your reply!

Not sad, pretty standard when converting a larger reflector light to TIR… just part of the game.
