Thank you forum members "koss" and "Richie086" for your results from testing the "12V cigarette lighter socket" on the AFTIME Power Station.
The devices I have (~1A max load) that do not initially work and cause the AFTIME Power Station to display the "ERR" DC Output message, but that do start to work after I reboot the AFTIME Power Station with the device still connected are two different Anker USB car chargers two different OPUS battery chargers and my Garmin Car GPS.
The devices I have that will not work at all with the "12V cigarette lighter socket" on the AFTIME Power Station(even after a reboot while connected) are a Chain Saw Sharpener (a miniature Die Grinder) and a Sony CD Boom Box.
The only device I really want to work is the Chain Saw Sharpener. The other devices were used for testing to try and figure out why the Chain Saw Sharpener (~5A max load at startup) would not work on this particular Power Station when it works fine on other similar size Power Stations.
Maybe the "12V cigarette lighter socket" on my particular AFTIME cannot support the 10A advertised load specification, but what surprised me the most was the flashing "ERR" failure message when I plug in a device if the AFTIME is "ON", but I do not get the failure or failure message if I plug in while the AFTIME is "OFF" and then turn it "ON", and I do not get the failure after a reboot when the failure message is displayed. The failure occurs even when the devices I am plugging in do not have their normal load applied (the USB car chargers are not connected to anything and the OPUS and Garmin vehicle power cords are not connected to their devices).
So you have something like this? Amazon.com
Do you have a cord with a barrel plug you can sacrifice and either use the alligator clips or jerry rig it to the 12 DC out plug?
Kind of sounds like something is wrong with your unit, you can see if they’ll swap if not buy another the the higher current price and return the bad one one in its place.
There’s a coupon for $150 total right now JLXGOSEF Amazon.com
Yes that's exactly the sharpener I use, but I don't have a barrel plug to test the other DC outlet jack on the AFTIME Power Station.
I have sent a message to AFTIME through Amazon about this issue and will see what happens. Was just curious if anyone else had this problem. Other than that the power station works fine.
Cheap solder station. vipon Coupon and amazon coupon. 16$

I’d like to say that this light arrived in 2 days instead of the quoted 1-2 months. I’m shocked. For the light, I can indeed confirm that it is exactly one metric flashlight.
Insanely low price for something like this. Originally $26.99. Just $3. And it’s free shipping. It’s fulfilled by the seller, not Amazon too. Sometimes when you get a good deal like that, the original price counts towards the shipping, so you can add on a few small items and still enjoy free shipping. Not so with this. So I placed an order, totaled to $3.20 with tax. I don’t know how they make any money on it!
It’ll be interesting to see how is the compatibility. Some of these USB-C to 3.5mm jacks don’t work, or sound crappy. I have a Baseus one that’s quite good. Also the Apple one and that works fine on my Google Pixel.
