Cool, my SP10Pro is on permanent EDC duty, but I just wanted to see the difference in hand between the 16340 and 14500 size lights. Canāt really take the word of people online about feel in hand because, well, their hands arenāt my hands
I might go for one anyway just because theyāre so(firn) affordable. Just to see how it feels.
I like the shorter (but fatter) SC21 Pro size better than the SP10 Pro form factor. (both lights have the same carry weight)
.
I also like the lighted button better, the clip rides deeper, and it tailstands better
Very nice - the reflectors are the same size, right? I think I heard that somewhere.
Any luck on finding a TIR that goes in without too much sanding or cutting required? Iāve got DC-Fix on my SP10Pro, but Iām curious if there are any other nice lens options.
Very interesting, thanks for that. Pity they arenāt the same size, because I tried the S2+ TIRs and they donāt work like drop-ins on my SP10Pro like they do in that SC21Pro. Thatās another tick for me getting one I guess.
20mm TIRs are most common for these lights (S2+, etc.), but 17mm is another somewhat common size. Fits in D25 headlamps with minimal sanding, so see if one of those would do.
Only thing Iād be concerned with is depth. (Thatās what she saidā¦)
Well looky what showed up in the mail yesterday! I got one built up and tested, worked great. Iāll try to get some more built up over the weekend to be able to ship out.
I just got a new SC21 Pro todayā¦ I will be happy to use your new programmer and pogo pins, when ready.
the Programmer and pogo pins you provided for SP10 Pro also works on TS10. It has been working Great for me.
fwiw, the hex for SC21 Pro needs updating to lower lows, and to add LVP to the button light circuitā¦
in the meantime, would it work to use the TS10 hex you made, dated 7/19, on an SC21 Pro
the only difference I know, from using the TS10 hex, is the SC21 Pro button light will be Off when main LEDs are Onā¦ no harm in that. But there is a lot I dont knowā¦ lol
Jumping in the pool here without reading this whole thread. Iām interested in updating to Anduril 2, so Iām interested to hear the response to jonsliderās q in the previous post.
I see no reason not to put TS10 firmware on the SC21 Pro. Iāll be the guinea pig and report back.
Sorry, sbslider. Thatās a USBasp, great for the attiny85 and attiny1634. But not compatible with the attiny1616. Youād need a USB to Serial TTL adapter like what you linked to above. Iāve got some on hand that I can send out with pogo adapters, or theyāre available on Amazon
word is avrdudess also worksā¦ I cant sayā¦ my Old Mac has a brain of its own
good luck,
for me learning to reflash without prior experienceā¦ was a total cluster. I killed 2 lights in the process (I call it a Seminar Fee), almost more than Ive killed moddingā¦ lolā¦
I dont have your background, it may be like frisbee golf in Alameda Park for you
Thanks for the link jon_slider, but for some reason it doesnāt work for me right now. If I copy the text of the link and go there it does work. Weird.
Iāll likely slow roll this one for now, sort of like my standard tee shot at hole 4 of Evergreen Park disc golf course.
No disc golf at Alameda park, too many folks hanging out there for that activity. Would be nice though, as thatās much closer to my house. Back to the topic, I think the thing Anduril 2 has that I would am most interested in is the timer feature in 5 minute increments for sunset, so for now Iāll watch this thread and see how things go for folks.
I want to try my hand at first time flashing - so if I follow those instructions from the reddit post - with all those parts, it should work for the SC21? I am a complete newb at this but willing to learn.
