Question-Would You Pay $20 Plus Shipping For A Smooth Reflector For A Olight SR51

I did buy myself a great thrower.

The Thrunite TN31, I just love it and what a throw beast.

Shorter fatter body with 3 x 18650 in a battery carrier in parallel.

Nice cool white clean beam with 6 levels including moonlight up to 1147 lumens plus strobe and it still fits in my back pocket.

I have the Olights M3X, SR50, SR51, SR90, M30, Fenix TK70, Crelant 7G5 V2 with Aspheical Head, Dereelight DBS-T EZ900 Aspherical and many more but this TN31 is a little beast.

All of my torches are great in their own ways.

My EDC is an ITP A3 EOS upgraded 3 level 90 lumens AAA flashlight and I have a Zebralight (600 lumen) SC600 in a Custom Made Thorshammer leather holster that also has a spare 18650 compartment.

So I don’t suppose it would be worthwhile pursing an SR51 smooth reflector.

Cheers

How does the TN31 do against the 7G5-V2 W/ aspherical head? You don’t happen to have any beamshots comparing the TN31 to any of your other lights?
Thanks,
Rick

If I had the collection you have, I’d rather spend that sum in the attempt of making one of my already favorite lights perfect than use it on another new flashlight that couldn’t contribute much to my flashaholic experience.

That reflector is expensive, no doubt, but such is the law of diminishing returns…

No! This is BLF B as in budget.

I did it for the tf f15 but that was <$5 and it made it more ringy. if i had the olight and wanted a throwier beam i would buy it.

The TN31 kills the 7G5 V2 with or without the Aspherical Head.

The TN31 is a little beast, that will fit in my back pocket.

With the TN31 you get a terrific clean white throw and spill as well.

Aspherics can project the LED pattern far away but you have no light left to see where you are walking, really they are specialty lights.

With the Aspherical Head the 7G5 V2 throws about nearly double the size width square led pattern than my Dereelight DBS-T Aspherical EZ900.

But the Dereelight is still brighter in my tests at night walking around the streets.

The Dereelight is awesome as a thrower but I can’t see where the beam ends.

Great rifle mount with scope.

I will endeavour to get some photo comparisons up, but it is freezing at night here in Sydney, Australia right now.

Cheers

I have the 7G5-V2 with the Aspherical Head and was curious how it compared to the TN31, I also have the Dereelight DBS-T Aspherical EZ900 and the beam on the 7G5-V2 w/AH and it’s beam is alot more useful than the tiny beam of the DBS, but I still like them both. I want the TN31 that’s why I was asking, just more money than I have right now. Thank you for getting back to me.
Rick

Does anybody have a link to the smooth reflector for the sr51. I looked on the olight site and didnt see one. Thanks in advance.

No link, but if you call them you can order it I was told in an email.

I wouldn’t…even if you get 3000 more lux you will never notice unless you take pictures…our eyes suck…20$ towards another light seems better suited to me…

That’s the way I’m thinking.

Sad to say but I would probably do it. But that in no way should suggest you should.

I would try these above web sight.

I don’t see where is the For Sale of SR51 SMO? I’d like to buy one,
emailed Olight USA but never got a response??

We do sell the smooth reflector for the SR-51. The cost is $19.95 plus shipping. Feel free to give our office a call at 919-883-5265 ext 107 and we will be happy to process our order. Thank you and have a great day.

ILF, with as many nice throwers as you have, why try to convert this very nice light into something it's not? It's not the money so much, are you really unhappy with it as it is? If so, you should probably sell it to me at a deeply discounted price...

Hi, I am a bit confused,

You started the thread on buying end, now your are selling? Did you get it from Olight USA?

If you have one in good shape & it improves the throw, I’ll take it. Could you PM me your PP address?

I just copied and pasted the email from Olight.

Thanks, I’ll give them a call
