Anybody know a source for wolf eyes body extenders? I was asleep at the switch and let a couple get by me at CPF. I have since been looking around and noone seems to carry them any more.
Thanks for the quick reply. I just recently picked up an L2 host based partly on the reccomendations here. Real nice host, so thanks BLF.
Anyway the diameter of the WE is larger than the Surefire/Solarforce. They are not interchangeable. Pila used to be interchangeable but that is going back a good 5 years before they changed their models from the 3glx or whatever it was. Its a real shame. If you get a chance to pick up an old WE body for short money you should give them a try. The Sniper/Raider line is p60 compatable and the Rattlesnake is D36 compatable. I really love mine, I just can't find the tubes anymore.

Ah well, it was worth a try...
The problem is that unless you have access to a lathe, getting stuff machined in the EU/US is just too expensive to consider. I was quoted roughly two day's of the national average pay here to bore out a 60mm long aluminium tube by 3mm.
If you do know a machinist, you can probably get it done for two or three beers. Threading is a pain to do on a lathe though. If you can find appropriately sized tubing, you may be able to find an appropriate tap and die set to cut the threads yourself. Which is a lot more fun anyway. Just make sure the tubing is made of something fairly soft or you'll need to hire King Kong to apply the required force.
There are a few folks around here with access to machine shops - one of them will hopefully chip in with an offer to help.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.
The WolfEyes stuff is Surefire interchangeable isn't it? If so, the Solarforce stuff should do the trick.
I've never owned any WolfEyes lights so I could easily be way off here.
