Just like to say I really enjoyed this thread and the comradery that many members have. I know a few of us are very tolerate while others aren’t. One big PEEVE, I been having which seems to me asof lately, there has been a TON of ‘thread hijacking’ with buddy padding SPAM.
A guy asked a honest question related to the thread and five members chime in on one stupid comment. I wish there was an ignore button again. Like one was about XX flashlight, then 5 members go member XX is alive & well. WTF does that have to do with the thread? Seriously use PM for your relationships, instead of spamming threads?
Examples: [05-FEB-2013] How to deal with trolls stitches, yea very good troll analogy?
Since it was me that terminally, totally and completely derailed that thread, I’d like to offer my solemn, sincere and heart felt apologies for ruining an important post.
I’d like to, but I’m not going to.
Seriously, lighten up! Sb didn’t seem to mind the unintentional trolling, it didn’t I feel detract from the thread, a thread that went up at the start of the month by the way, your moaning about it now?
As cone said, whilst we can derail threads better than leaves on a British train line, no-one EVER stuffs up someone’s problem before the problem has been dealt with. To be fair, sometimes the resulting conversation nets further help as more join in.
Would you prefer it if threads ran :-

End of thread?
That strikes me as a little boring don’t you think? :~

Seriously! I wanna be sure I know exactly what it is so I don’t do it.
Have no interest in waking up and looking in the mirror and seeing a da*# Troll!
Why is it that on the internet, there’s so many things one is supposed to inherently know without explanation? Maybe I started to late.
Hey Gords, pass the biscuits will ya? Scaru, you done with the butter?

Trolling would appear to be treating the place and people present as friends in a pub, rather than anonymous bots on a computer network.
Fancy, using a technical forum as a social network!

I took that shot at your house while you were out……
I was once thought to be quite a troll
But threadjacking was not my true goal
I just like to smile

Sometimes I put a little extra peanut butter on my crackers…. just because I really like peanut butter.
Oh, and it was really cold this morning, like –19C (that’s –2F). I put an extra stick of wood on the fire.
Adding that little bit extra makes everything better.

I like cinnamon Cheerios, I ate them during a trip to the US, but I can only find honey Cheerios here in Spain. How can I buy them?

With Welch’s on warm, lightly toasted bread. Mmmmm. If you want good clean Internet, read one of my build threads. Nice and tidy with maybe 6 replies in a month and no trolls. Heeere, trolly, trolly, trolly.

I go for the just peanuts stuff… the one that you need a jackhammer to break up enough to get out of the jar. Then you need to warm it up so it’s soft, but not too much or it will run everywhere.
What was the OP topic again? Who cares, this is fun

I want a Fluffernutter! I haven't had one of those in 40 freaking years!
A fluffernutter (also called a "peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich", "peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwich", or "peanut butter and marshmallow stuff sandwich") is a sandwich made with peanut butter and marshmallow creme usually served on white bread. Variations of the sandwich include the substitution of wheat bread and the addition of various sweet, salty, and savory ingredients. The term fluffernutter can also be used to describe other food items, primarily desserts, that incorpo...

really?!
I LOVE peanut butter. I put it on anything - bananas and pancakes are two favorites. BUT - I hate the chunky stuff…
I’ve not sure why…I like peanuts, too - but I want one or the other. Chunky, or smooth. Not both at the same time, thanks
