I’m having trouble with it now too. I’ve rebooted it a few times now. I suspect that it needs to have the maintenance tasks run after that heavy load, and I can’t run them because of a configuration problem on this testbed.
OK, I think I managed to run the maintenance task, at least partially. It seems to be running quite fast. Now if everyone could please try to navigate around it and send PMs and get a feel for the “normal” load performance.
Well, I do have access to a 200 gigabit/sec direct internet backbone link (but via a 1 gig/sec net connection). It would probably not be couth to unleash that on the poor beastie.
Cool, please keep poking around and let me know how it behaves.
I’ll probably be switching BLF over to this new hosting provider and infrastructure. Unfortunately this issue came up on a really really busy week for me, so I might not be able to migrate the site over until early next week. Meanwhile, please excuse the exasperating slowness of the current production BLF site and stick around for the upgrade.
