ZL Update: It appears my unhappy email may have worked. We have a ship notice, but the tracking itself hasn't updated. I'll update with an ETA when it does.

We receive our Zebralight shipments! All SC600MKIIs have all been fulfilled and all our Zebralight selections are in stock. (Except the SC52W pre-order) Browse our Zebralight selection HERE.

That's fantastic news!!! Actually got tracking# from you already... might have it in time for the weekend :D

Any new upcoming products aside from the SC52W?

We are waiting for the Nitecore SRT5 and Zebralight H502Ws.

There is an SRT5? That's great :) Already own an H502, so I'll pass on getting the NW version. Lovely little headlamps... just wish it took a 14500 like the SC52.

The SRT6 looks to be identical to the SRT7 in every way except for the head being smaller. Of the SRT line the next one I'll bite on is the SRT3.

The SRT7 has grown on me, after my initial disappointment.

I've put it through about 6 hours of use so far, and pocket carried it for about ten days. One spot of anodization on a fin got scratched, but otherwise working perfectly, and looks 98% new.

The detents are extremely useful... I can now preset exactly what I want from memory before turning the light on. Only areas I wish Nitecore would improve on with this light/model line would be no empty travel distance for the ring, a lower low, and more powerful color LEDs, and of course a true, alternating police strobe.

In terms of throw, in this/similar size, the only light that beats it, is the Crelant 7G6CS. It has a much larger head though, so not nearly as pocket friendly, and overall quality wise the nitecore is in a different category.

Oops sorry, I meant the SRT6. An SRT5 supposedly exists but we haven't been able to pre-order it yet. I think based on the nature of the magnetic ring, some of the SRT flashlights will have lower lows than others, the difference shouldn't be that great though. The SRT6 also does not have the tri-color LEDs. I know I've been saying this for a long time but we're very close to launching our direct thermal copper boards and mounted ones. We also might be moving out soon :D

Nice! Good luck with the move.

I got a little surprise in the mail about an hour ago...

I'm very happy to see my KeepPower 3400mAh protected batteries fit just fine into the SC600II. It's really quite small too... especially compared to the giants... but holds it's own for up close work.

The SC52 is also from you guys :p

Yea! My ZL SC600 II arrived today………bring on the night

So what is the lube that is used on the SC 600 II ? it seems to have it’s own order to it that I don’t recognize.

I can only say that it's not like the grease from Xtar, or Jetbeam... but that's about it.

Doesn't hurt that the threads are very good to begin with.

Can't say I know off the top of my head, I could email Zebralight and ask if you want?

On a side note, I've added B-Stock Nitecore P25s to the garage sale if anybody is interested.

Yes it would be nice to see what lube they use, I might even want some

SRT6 shipment arriving tomorrow. Mostly black, a small selection of grey. As usual use SRT6 as the code. Enjoy :)

Might be of interest to you guys. Looking at the LED, and the tint of the SC600II, and the S6330, they appear to be identical.

Since Zebralight did say they S6330 are XMLU3... I'd bet the SC600II is also XMLU3.

@Calvin - Have they said anything about an update to the S6330? I'd love to see an XML2U3 version, that's driven to the maximum... the S6330 is my favorite pocket rocket for the moment. No one expects that much light from something the size of an 8oz cup.

It's not my all time favorite tint, but it's definitely one of the better ones out there. It's much warmer than the standard xmlu2, but has a different tint vs xmlt6.

To me, tint makes a huge difference, and in terms of relative brightness, I find that I prefer the light from the zebralights vs the slightly more powerful nitecore srt7.

The best tint by far though, even better than the nichias imo, is from MTG2. I can't wait until we see a larger selection of warm high CRI mtg2 lights. (I expect nitecore, and others will jump on the bandwagon... makes sense to use 1 LED vs 3, considering the amount of light you can produce.)

No news of a S6330 upgrade unfortunately.

That's a shame. It's definitely at or near the top of my favorite flashlights.

Also an interesting side note on the S6630, description from ZL website;

  • Three independent battery power channel for ultimate battery safty and flexibility (mix and match any 1-3 batteries)
Terrible spelling & grammar aside, what this actually means, is one battery per 1 channel, will power only 1 LED that lines up to that one channel. So you can run the light with 1, 2, or fully with 3 LEDs by using 1, 2, or 3 batteries.

This possibly also means you can use umatched cells in it... a major plus in an emergency, or for people that don't match up their 18650 batteries.

Also, last note - Panasonic protected 18650's from FT will not fit in this light. Orbtronic 2900mAh 18650, and Keeppower 3400mAh will fit just barely.

Good news, the SRT6 in Black and Grey are now available in stock! We have a smaller shipment of grey compared to the black and will be receiving more grey next week or 2 so buy the units before we run out :D
