The best and cheapest place to get cool switches from is to place switches in the fridge for about two hours. For really cool switches they go in the freezer for about the same amount of time.
The switches are SMD momentary and come from Spark Fun. I solder them to XM-L stars, because the spacing is close enough to work. Not perfect, but close enough.
Buenos notches. The hands take a beating. I think maybe that’s why the call it hand work. Small lip on the spacer ring w/o-ring? Similar to the lip in the head.
You mean an “O” ring groove on the body? I’ve thought about it, but I have never tried one. It’s such a tight fit now, I don’t know if an “O” ring could fit.
