1) I want to know If I replace that 800mAH Battery with lets say 18650mAH; can I get a higher Luminous Output from the Battery.
2) It says in the Specs that Charging Voltage is 90V –240 V and Charging Current is AC 0.08A and 0.5W… If I do the math with P=VI; then P should equal to ~ 220V * 0.08A = 17.6 Watts… not 0.5 Watts as in the Specs… What is wrong around here… can anyone explain it to me…
Friend, you should lower your dependency and/or trust on Chinese spec.
I have worked with this light. I’ll reply on your other thread, no need to open many threads for one question, you can simply bump the other thread with simple question like “Anyone can help?” or something like that. That will move your thread back to top of Recent Posts so chances are more forum members will see it.
no info as to what sort of battery.
and yes those ratings are “chinese mah” “chinese lumens”
see also “craftsman horsepower”
something else to think about is that that appears to be a headlamp.do you really want a cheap n nasty whateverfire grade battery strapped to your face?
I’m sorry Farjah… but if you’re trying to make that headlamp brighter, you’ll be in for disappointment
those $5 lights are meant for novelty only or when you need to work at very close environment.
if you want something bright get some light with XM-L T6 lights in it… the newer ones with XM-L2 can be had for about $20 these days.
go to Aliexpress.com and you can find a lot of nice and bright headlamp for decent price.
BTW welcome to BLF… just hang around and you’ll be broke just like most of us in here
That’s tough. I guess when no choices are around those DPs will have to do.
Though I’m sure there’ll be sale of real CREE lights over there, probably you just haven’t found places that sells them.
My advice would be for you to hang around here for a while so you can some better info on higher powered lights. In case you do find them on sale over there, that’ll help you choose better.
