On mine the whole head unscrews readily but the bezel is small, narrow and seems to be very tight or glued. Narrow enough bezel protrusion so very hard to get a grip on it with a tool.
Thanks OL for this pretty nice group buy. I would also like to know if there is a faint possibility that the led can be swapped, anyone managed to do that without visible damage? Still, I would like one.
Oh, and on the gearbest site black is not listed as sold out, so despite the OP for me it would be black if possible
EDIT: (if black is really is not possible, I go for red)
Put me down for 1, recently picked up one for my wife to use at work and it’s really nice, I put a nicia 219 in it (bezel WAS glued on it) but I’d really like to convert one to single mode (about 3-500mA) to run on standard alkalines and give it to grandma, she’s been asking for a light built by me but at 90 she can’t handle new batteries (even NiMH) or multi-modes.
Originally, 4Sevens planned to make replacement heads available to facilitate swapping tints and output bins. I guess that never happened and isn’t going to.
My wife’s blue 4Sevens model has a nice tint, is surprisingly bright, and has impressed many of her fellow nurses and doctors.
I think we should hurry for the gb, I just contact with olight, they replied that the stock is very limited and this light will be out of production :(
