Thanks for the tip OL! I fried my current F13 driver when re-wiring and switching to OUT+ (Not sure what I did, but the light is very dim and all modes disappeared)… At that price, maybe I’ll just grab another and try again.
This be a good light, and a steal at $9. The bulky body suits well for a hotrod mod. I’ll pass this time though since already have one from last GB.
Gotta love OL, “or clone”.
Has anybody ran this with 3xAAA or such?

Sweet deal — thanks!
Order made. Thanks!
Thanks and Happy New year OL!!
No one notices when things are going right
Nice…even using 18650’s w/ the sleeve, these are some rather nice lights…quite beefy and plenty of meat in the body to absorb heat if modified into a barn burner…at 3A these things barely even heat up.
Thanks OL!!!!
Thanks for the heads up, couldn’t resist at that price!
Anyone know if the battery tube or tailcap could screw onto a HD2010?

Thanks for checking that, too bad.
I was hoping to one of those exact extension tubes to build a nice 2× 26650 mt-g2 beasty out of this thing. I do have another 26650 extension tube here that might do the trick, one of those sold by cnqualitygoods back in the day that was a bit too narrow at the threads to fit the HD2010. Chances of it fitting are slim but who knows.

Thanks for posting. I ordered one.
Can this run on 3xAA also? If so, how? Would I need a case like this:

If it possible, I will buy that flashlight, so please if anybody know it tell us
(I have to make a gift to ordinary people, so I prefer not to buy Li-on cells, just Nimh)
Thanx OL!!

Terrible UI, but with a different driver…
I like 26650-flashlights -> handy & long runtime! This one has a glass lens and an aluminium reflector, perfect.
I wish you a healthy happy new year! 8)
Nice deal, sorely tempted but are 22mm drivers readily available? Had a quick look and couldn’t seem to find any.
I got an F13 from GB in May,still XM-L then.$9.99 and it came with lanyard,18650 spacer and triple AAA battery carrier.See photo 3 in the customer photos.3 AA cells will not fit in any 26650 battery tube AFAIK so that is about 700-1000 mAh :~
I ordered one of these as well.
If this doesn’t fit that AA battery holder, does anybody know of a light that will fit it?My Favorite Modded Lights: X6R, S8 , X2R , M6, SP03

Use a contact board and attach a Nanjg 105C driver on the contact board is one of the solutions.
Or resistor-mod the driver?
EDIT: As for the stock driver, simply move the positive wire to the OUT1+ pad, as shown in here to achieve DD.
Find this spec, just 18650,22650 and 3xAAA.

Your other option is to use a smaller 17mm or 20mm driver. You can either use a contact PCB (like these 21mm ones from IOS?) as bibihang suggested or you can just strip the stock driver and use that in lieu of a contact board. IIRC there is enough space for any 17mm driver you want.

Thanks for all the great information guys.
I had wondered what those contact boards were used for. My soldering skills are not up to making my own driver, but that contact board idea looks doable. Thanks.
I think I’m about to acquire my first 26650 light.
I just tried to move the positive wire to the OUT1+ pad and I got 3.0A measured at tail. All the wires were also replaced with 22awg one.
Still doesn’t give any ‘rocking’ performance, but surprisingly the PWM pattern of this stock driver can hardly be noticed so I will just stick to it.
