Nice mod. A total flooder one would think. Just don't accidentally turn it on in your pocket.
turned on in your pocket, it is sure to keep the boys warm on a cold night
If you’re near the Kaiserslautern area, maybe a bunch of us could meet up someday!
That has to be crazy bright for the size.
Nice!
It is a real funny light.
You see the Output and can not believe it.
Hope you can get more of those cells and have some spare pockets.
Hy,
last weekend, we did some beamshots in cologne and this little light got a neat GITD application

Nice mod!
(Hmm, I have one MT-G2 leftover, let's see if I can beat that size )
a Trustfire Mini-01 MT-G2.
The led does need 2 batteries in series though, with a boost driver there's not much current leftover. I was thinking 2x10180 in series with a 10mm zener-modded FET-driver . Hmm, that is quite a project actually, no promises here...
today I received my order ( 501b Cree XP-L V5 led flashligt ) which order from lightmalls.
http://www.lightmalls.com/ultrafire-wf-501b-smo-3-7-4-2v-cree-xp-l-v5-1a-1800lm-5-mode-led-flashlight-1x18650-battery
I can’t wait to test it and watch how powerful it is compare with Cree l2 ,U3 led ect .
Is anyone who has do some test about this led ?

That could work.
Like any light of this size crammed with a MT-G2 and two tiny cells its more for the short term wow-moment than any other real use as run time is likely to be mere seconds or just minutes.

That is where the driver comes in, with a 2% low setting the runtime is acceptable and the output is back to meh :-)
Thank you Kenjii for the beamshoots and Glowy
at Zeng@LM What are you posting ?
Spamfuzzi or what ?
