In theater - Just watched Avengers - Age of Ultron a couple of nights ago. I liked the first Avengers movie better...
On DVD - watched 2103 - The Deadly Wake earlier this week. Quite honestly, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. A Sci-Fi/Maritime movie with odd pacing, an obscure plot that was difficult to follow, and some sort of an unexplained sea-witch/ghost that made no sense. All in a futuristic setting. It was on a multi-movie set that was given to me ages ago; that's the only reason I even have the movie...
I watched Mad Max: Fury road at movie theater, and it was great!
I was little afraid that it would be one of those sequels that collect the money away from people with the name of a good movie, but I was happy to be wrong about that.
And the 3D worked really nicely on this movie. I think it might be the first 3D movie that I would choose to watch in 3D for the second time too.
+1 I mean I really enjoyed it, almost tempted to go see it again, but it wasn't as good as the first. I felt they glossed over the emergence of Vision too much, spent too much time on really vapid character development, and wanted to the action to carry the movie (which it did) but with a lot less humor/fun.
The Winter Soldier is IMO the best movie of the Marvel series so far.
I agree about [spoiler?], but I felt like there was a lot more humorous scenarios/dialogue in Ultron. Might just be that it has been a while since I saw the first Avengers.
The hulk vs buster scene was flippin' awesome, probably my favorite scene in the movie.
I watched bob the streetcat. a movie about a streetcat accompanying a former drug addict recuperating. Really nice show about how cats can bring luck and positive change in a human being. And hacksaw ridge was AWESOME!
