That might be a great buy. I checked his feedback and those that have bought from him are pleased.
And I wanted to say in the quote you qoted me above is 2 different sellers. I went back and fixed it so I put the info where it needed to be. But I can't fix yours that you qouted me above. I just wanted to make that clear. Both those sellers I have no doubt are very good. I have bought from both. The Hi-Max batteries are very good batteries.
Have you seen the croco at the end of description? http://www.ebay.com/itm/LUMINUS-SST-50-5MODE-PCB-DRIVER-/220699453480?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item3362b66828
Are they geniune TR-3T6 or just copies, what happened last time ilikeflashlIghts posted eBay links ? + 28 people brought fakes and are still trying to sort it out. Maybe hold off on the eBay links untill you have personally brought, try and tested the light in question and they are proven not to be none genuine (fake) TR-3T6,s if they are genuine Awsome but if they are fakes or another type of 3 x T6 and you are happy with them then make a new thread
I will as soon as it gets here, my thoughts are since the lense is stil glass it can still break but since it has a AR coating on both sides it should be stronger then normal glass atlest it should not shatter.
I have a torch with an AR coated lense and it seams really good, strong and lets out good light, the UCL Lense seamed to be used alot in high out put modified maglites.
I will test the lense with a long run time test as I have been planing to do another run time test longer then my last ones i did with the TR-3T6 as I want to see if the AR coating on the UCL will handle atlest 45 min runs on high, because if it will not it’s no good to me.
I’m sure the UCL lense will handle it no problem but I would like to test it for fit and use before I recommend it
I can't do any testing with it until after Christmas. My wife let me open it up to see if it powered on (so if there was a problem we could return it), but she got it for me as a Christmas gift :)
with in the next couple of weeks im going to buy this lux meter as im intrested in testing the TR-3T6 and testing the diffrence in the stock lense and the UCL lense
yeah, its not wide enough 35mm VS 50mm and its way to deep 16.5mm, there is only 1mm of room under the bezel ring and the top of the screw in, see the first picture in the first post.
the TR-3T6 head is 55mm wide and the screw in is just over 50mm wide (top) and just under 45mm long (deep) the reflectors on the TR-3T6 are 17.30 mm deep and 22.50 mm wide (aprox)
basicly its not wide enough and you would have to chop the top off the screw in that holds the 3 x emitters to make it fit is it was wide enough to start with.
Hi folks. I am completely new to this forum and this is my first post. I wish that I will learn from all members and share my experience.
Just purchased a 3T6 directly from the manufacturer who is an OME factory for those reputed brands. This 3T6 is HA III coated which may using both 2 and 3 18650s but not in Trustfire name. Driver 8.4A regulated.
It is a very good torch at it price according to so many positive comments, but the run time is very important as well. Of course, one may use 3x18650. For my own taste, it is too long and head/tail is not well-balanced.
I will modify it to accept 2x26650 3.7v(ea 4000mah) to increase the running time, which I already did it for my 5XQ5 torch. It is much better balance and grid.
Well. One merchandiser there is a friend I know who was working same as my field. This factory only product nice quality torch with nothing less than HA III coating and high standard aluminium alloy.
She help me to put it as a sample order and I T/T funds to them. But, I seldom buy from them since I prefer DIY more than ready made even the sampling charge is below market price.
